Please feel free to contact us with any questions, suggestions, or ideas! One of our favorite aspects of our travels is the community we get to meet. We’ve met friends from Scotland in Vietnam, from Germany in Chile, from Italy in the US, and from the UK in Tanzania- all who we have continued to travel and visit to.

A women with brown curly hair in a green plaid flanner shirt sits closely next to a man with brown hair. He is wearing a white fleece and grey pants. They are sitting on a brown wooden bench hugging. In the background are several sailing ships and and an orange sunset. Why follow us?

We’ve been traveling internationally together for over a decade and have accumulated so many experiences that we want to share with you. We’re always learning more about how to refine our travel practices, but we also have a bank of knowledge saved up of travel hacks, free flights, free accommodations, affordable destinations, and just WOW moments and experiences that we hope you can emulate- if it makes sense for you!

So who are Vic and Pat?

Vic is the planner, travel visionary, budget master and writer. She organizes the logistics, finds the deals, and is a student of travel hacking! She stretches the ideas of ” life on the move” beyond travel. As a life long dancer turned runner, she is constantly in motion. During the pandemic she picked up long distance running and has since completed five marathons.

Pat is always a strong partner and is up for the adventure that Vic scopes out. When she gave him 2 weeks notice that they were giving up the lease to their apartment to travel, he said, ” sure” ( after a few other choice words…). When told about a trip, his first question now is, ” wheelie luggage or backpack?

He earns the title for ” most improved international traveler” and has significantly upped his ability to pack for a 2 month trip in a carryon. He manages going for his Masters degree remotely while traveling the world and never complains about taking zoom calls at midnight ( thanks, time zones). While he also enjoys being active, he is the anchor to Vic’s pull and reminds her that stillness is okay sometimes too.

So all that to say, we love traveling for the community of people we’ve met along the way. We want to foster a space of learning from each other and encourage you to reach out and contact us ( and follow on the gram) so we can get to know you too!
