Who are we?

We’re Vic and Pat! Originally from Boston, we now share a U.S. base between there and New Jersey as we split our time between our families and international travel. In the last 3 years, we spend about 50% of our time abroad. We’ve traveled together to 50+ countries over the last 10 years together and we are ready to share our budget itineraries , travel hacks, and memorable ( for better or worse) experiences with you through our travel blogs.

What else?

We’ve mastered the long weekend trip, school break trip, have taken time off from our jobs, and have worked remotely. Regardless of your lifestyle, we are commited to sharing how to make the most of your time in alternative destinations outside of the typical travel circut. We aren’t in the business of taking time for granted, so we hope we can encourage you to do the same and live your life on the move when and how that is right for you. We’ve curated some of our favorite budget itineraries from unique destinations for you to take advantage of.

What to Expect from our Travel Blog

Our aim is to keep it real. Travel is exciting, fulfilling, and memorable- but mostly because a lot of things can go wrong. We still remember the morning TEN years ago when we thought we missed the only bus to Fez, Morocco because we didn’t realize we changed time zones. I still get a knot in the my stomach when we do laundry on a travel day after getting my only pair of jeans stuck in a drier in Berlin. And you’ll never forget when a giant humpback whale skims across your fingers in Guayaquil, Ecuador.

These are the moments we are accumulating in our memory banks as we keep living our life on the move. These are the types of moments we hope we can help you ( avoid) but also accumulate- it keeps life spicy!
