With our budget itineraries, we aim to share ways on how to stretch your money further. From public transportation, to local restaurants, to grocery shopping and free activity recommendations, we hope to show you how you can comfortably use around $30 USD/per person, per day to explore the world.
We’ve visited some of the most affordable and some of the most expensive countries in the world and use a combination of strategies in order to keep our budget in check! For years, we’ve used this free app that allows us to categorize where and how we spend our money.
Now that we have more flexible schedules, we found that spending 2-3 weeks is an ideal length for us to get to know a new location. This is a lot of time and definitely a luxury that most people don’t have- we get it! We’re constantly trying to balance ourselves the itch to see as much as we can with the reality of wanting to slow down and actually experience the place we are in! We aren’t looking to just check off a destination and say we have ” been there.” With our budget itineraries we want to show you how to take a recommendation and stretch or compact it to the trip length that matches your needs.
