We’re linking below some of our favorite travel resources that we actually use to make our travels happen.

A collage of images of travel locations included ancient ruins in Jordan, a brown bear in Alaska, and bright yellow sand from the Sahara desert. In the center of the images the text reads" Travel Hacks: Where will it take you?" The image is above a bulleted list of travel resources that the author recommends for travel planning.

Looking for how we make travel happen? You’ve come to the right place. Check out some of our favorite recommendations for how we coordinate and plan our travel:

Travel Resources: Accommodations

  • www.airbnb.com ( we have stayed at Airbnb’s in over 60 countries!)
  • www.booking.com ( easy to ” earn status” which allows for extra discounts)
  • www.agoda.com ( we always cross compare prices for hotels, and tend to find the best value here)
  • www.trustedhousesitters.com ( if you love animals, signing up for a membership here is the BEST option for FREE- post membership- accomodation)

Travel Resources: Flights

  • Google Flights Explore ( if you are flexible with your destination/dates at all, this is the best tool to find affordable fares)
  • Kiwi ( our favorite tool if we are booking multiple forms of transportation at once AND it has a pretty user friendly app)

Credit Cards ( the Holy Grail of Travel Hacking)

  • https://www.dailydrop.com/credit-cards ( we have been loyal to Daily Drop since it’s onset and believe they consistently provide information on the best credit card sign up offers) * no affiliation, just super happy*

Travel Resources: Transportation

  • Omio ( very user friendly app for trains, buses, AND flights in Europe)
  • FlixBus ( we have used them ALL over Europe, but they have US routes that are budget friendly too)

Bonus- Favorite Travel Luxury

  • Priority Pass: Allows lounge acess to over 1,600 lounges in 145 different countries. We’ve had this service for 2 years now ( through this card ) and it’s changed our travel days exponentially! Who doesn’t love free drink and food in a beautifully decorated space?)

We hope some of these travel resources help make your travel dreams a reality!
